🚗 Getting There: Book a Pet Cab with Mylopaws Travel

Finding a pet-friendly resort is half the journey. Getting there is the other half — and that’s where most Bangalore pet parents hit a wall. Regular cabs refuse large dogs. Auto drivers panic at crates. App-based cabs have wildly inconsistent pet policies that change driver to driver.

Mylopaws Travel runs dedicated pet cabs across Bangalore — intracity and outstation — with drivers trained to handle dogs of all sizes, calmly and safely. Whether you’re heading to Nandi Hills, Kanakapura, Hosur, Mandya, or Srirangapatna, we’ve likely made the trip before.

✅ Pre-Booking Checklist

  • Call ahead every time — pet policies change without notice. Even “pet-friendly” listings sometimes mean small dogs only, or exclude certain breeds.
  • Carry vaccination records — several resorts (Big Banyan, VAMA, Our Native Village) require proof of recent vaccination at check-in.
  • Ask about leash policies — some resorts have fully off-leash open spaces; others require leashes in common areas and dining zones.
  • Check size and breed restrictions — a few premium properties have weight caps or breed exclusions.
  • Book early for weekends — VAMA Retreats and Petcart Nest especially fill up fast on Saturdays. Mid-week bookings are often cheaper and quieter.
  • Pack your dog’s usual food — familiar meals reduce travel anxiety significantly, even when the resort provides a pet menu.
  • Carry tick prevention — outdoor resorts, especially forest-adjacent ones, can expose your dog to ticks. Use a preventive spot-on treatment before the trip.
  • Book your cab in advance — weekend mornings are peak time for Mylopaws Travel. Book at least 24–48 hours ahead for outstation trips.

After your trip, if you notice any skin irritation, excessive scratching, or fur changes — common after outdoor resort stays — visit Mylopaws Dermacare Centre in HSR Layout. Our 12 specialised skin & fur therapies include tick & flea elimination and a post-travel recovery treatment. Book via WhatsApp: Vijay at +91 91489 35441.
